Life's pretty much of a blur lately. Playing catch up with my homework that I seem to be losing. The yearbook project seems to be picking up pace now with the deadline looming.

Not many things to keep me happy nowadays. On really cold terms with my parents now. They never understand, nor try to. Being a bit selfish myself. Lazy to confront them. whatever.

I miss cheerleading after attending CHEER 2009. I shall rejoin CHARM practices again, soon.

Well, not used to blogging words nowadays. Feels weird. Maybe it's because I just read Flowers for Algernon, quite a saddening story.

My semester one finals ended today and a two-week break from college beckons. I could really use this break, every SAM student could and will. It's tough being in college. Will be resting my laurels for a couple of days before getting my job done as the Editor for this year's SAM yearbook, studies, and assignments.

The Mothers' Day Post.

Came up with it in a couple of minutes. Surprisingly, my mum was quite impressed.

So today, Mothers' Day, didn't go off with a good start. Dropped my camera bag containing my month-old dSLR and damaged the autofocus mechanism in the lens. There goes my lunch for the next one month. Hence, didn't manage to take much photos today.

Then cycled to USJ6 to hang out with Kar Mern since my sampat couldn't make it today. Walked around and decided to visit the house of my primary school teacher, Mrs. Lee. Very spontaneous it was.

Dinner was kept simple today since had a good dim sum breakfast.

It's been a month since I've attended SJBA's Youth Section and the feeling to be back again after a hiatus feels really good.

A good talk about filial piety by a brother whose name I can not recall. And to end of it all, hymn singing! I almost cried when we sang Brahma of My Heart by i.Gemz. mm. :)

Promises are wonderful things. They mark the sign of commitment and the consequences of not living up to one's one is dire. But that's not the worst of it, a promise to your own self is the most powerful promise.

It shows that you're willing to prove others wrong, by braving to change things, to do things, to avoid things.

I am so far satisfied with myself that I was sort of able to live up to my first and last promise to myself. But I am going to make a second promise to myself.

That is to: Not to hurt, emotionally and physically, everyone, anyone, and particularly, my loved ones.

It is a tall order to live up to, but I will do my best. :)

It's quite hypocrisy, this Earth Hour thing.

Anyway, KLCC and KL Tower are planning to turn off necessary lights this coming Saturday in conjunction with the international Earth Hour from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m..

So I am planning to go down town on Saturday by KTM sometime in the afternoon to lepak and then witness the occasion where these bright lights will be turned off for an hour at night. Anyone interested to go with me? :)

Attended my first real treasure hunt today that was organized by RA of USJ5 and MPSJ. Got dragged into this by Jing Yi along with Dina and Christine, the driver for the whole day.

Went to USJ 10, 11, 17, 16, 20, 21, 1, and USJ 12 before returning to MPSJ with our answers and treasures. I thoroughly enjoyed myself during the treasure hunt.

It feels like a millennia since I last posted something with more meat in my blog. MOVING ON!

Anyway, it's been another hectic week since my mid-term break ended. It's hard to believe that the memories of Port Dickson was a week ago. Time seems to be passing by faster and faster as you age. But because of college, I can rarely afford the time to appreciate things as they come passing by.

For the past week, I've been worked up on finishing my front page design proposals for this year's SAM's Winanga-Li yearbook. For those with a curious mind, "Winanga-Li" is a Kamilaroi word meaning to hear, to listen, to know, to remember.

Hence, I've been going around taking pictures of anything abstract that gives the vision of 'something new, and going after it' sort of thing. And I think I might just get myself a dSLR as I find taking pictures rather interesting and fun.
